Admission Procedure

  1. The school is open to all boys and girls, regardless of caste, creed, or social position, subject to the availability of seats.
  2. Following registration, the child will be subjected to a general interview. The date of the test can be ascertained by the school.
  3. While applying for admission, a student from a recognised school must present the school leaving certificate/ T.C. duly countersigned by the concerned authority. For pupils who want to enrol in Nursery and K.G. classes, a municipal birth certificate or a certificate from a hospital duly signed by C.M.O. is essential.
  4. A child accepted for admission must pay the fee within three days of notification to the parents. The admission is immediately cancelled if the fee is not paid within three days.
  5. When a child is admitted to the school, their parent or legal guardian is deemed to have agreed to the rules in their current form as well as any future revisions.
  6. The Principal reserves the right to refuse admission to a child without furnishing any reason. 

SCHOOL RULES

Students of Tulsi Public School should always remember that school is judged by their conduct outside the school premises, whether in or out of uniform. As Ambassadors of the school, students must conduct themselves with decorum and ensure that they are always polite, well mannered and show good etiquette. All the students are expected to follow the rules given below to avoid inconvenience. Strict action will be taken against defaulters by the school authorities.

  1. Students must bring their Almanac (Diary) to school every day and use it productively.
  2. Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed.
  3. Non-Sikh boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals and ensure that it should be simple as no fancy hairstyles are allowed.
  4. Students should move from one classroom to another classroom between periods without wasting time in an orderly and quiet manner
  5. No shouting or whistling is allowed in or around the school Building. Running in corridors is strictly prohibited
  6. It is strictly forbidden to throw any waste and wrappers here and there Always use a dustbin for throwing the waste
  7. Bullying and the use of foul language are punishable offences, whether in or out of school.
  8. Care must be taken of all school property and no student should scratch or spoil the desks or chairs, or damage any school furniture or write or draw anything on the walls. If so, damage charges will be borne by the students themselves.
  9. Students who cause damage to school property will be liable to pay a fine for such damage, if any.
  10. No irrelevant book (other than textbooks or library books), magazine or other publication may be brought to the school without the class teacher’s explicit permission.
  11. Lending or borrowing money or other articles from other students or staff is not permitted.
  12. Bikes, Mobile Phones, Audio and Video CDs, DVDs, and Computer games are strictly banned on the school premises Bringing all these articles to the school will lead to suspension/rustication from the school.
  13. Students are supposed to take care of their belongings. The school will not be responsible for any goods lost.
  14. Articles like expensive watches, costly pens and jewellery should be avoided.
  15. Students are not allowed to leave the school premises during the school hours without permission.
  16. Students are not allowed to play in and around the washrooms.
  17. Students are not allowed to indulge in fighting, lying, or cheating. stealing, eve teasing, playing truant, disrupting or skipping classes.
  18. Students are not supposed to be callous and uncaring towards the elderly and the needy.
  19. Showing insensitivity towards less privileged kids and children with special needs, insulting others, showing defiance and insubordination, and carrying or wearing unwanted objects within the school will be dealt with sternly.
  20. Students are not allowed to leave the play area without permission: They will play games under supervision only.
  21. No student may leave the classroom without a class outpass.
  22. Using unfair means during exams or tests is considered highly serious misconduct. Strict action will be taken against the wrongdoers.
  23. The school is committed to protecting the environment and expects its students to be environment-friendly in all their actions. Students should celebrate an Eco-Friendly Diwali and Holi. They must avoid the use of poly bags.
  24. Students are expected to speak in English even in their conversations.
  25. A student suffering from infections or contagious diseases is not allowed to attend school during his/her ailment. Parents should produce a doctor’s fitness certificate permitting him/her to attend school.

    WITHDRAWLS

    During a Session 

    For the withdrawal of a child, one week’s notice is essential. The certificate charge of ₹50.00 is to be paid extra for the SLC. Security will be refunded only after all the school dues for the months the student was on the roll have been cleared.

    At the end of the Session 

    Parents or guardians of students who wish to discontinue their studies or transfer to another school are reminded to provide written notification before or on 30th March, even if the Annual Result has not been declared by then. This notification should be in the form of an application for a transfer certificate or information on the discontinuation of studies. Failure to provide timely notification will result in an automatic enrollment for the following session and the fee for April will be charged. Please note that no admission fee is charged to students who are already enrolled in our school.

    A child’s name will be struck off from the roll if 
    • He/ She fails to clear his/her dues by the 30th of the month.
    • He/ She is absent for one month without permission.
