Please don’t spoil me.

I know quite well that I ought not to have all I ask for – I’m only teasing you.

Please don’t let me form bad habits.

I have to rely on you to detect them in the early stages.

I’ll take much more notice if you talk quietly with me in private.

Please don’t put me off when I ask questions.

If you do, you will find that I would stop asking you and seek my information elsewhere.

Please don’t protect me from the consequences.

I need a painful way to learn sometimes.

Please don’t nag.

If you keep nagging, I have to protect myself by appearing deaf.

Please don’t make rash promises.

Remember I feel badly let down when promises are broken.

Please don’t make me dependent on you for everything.

It would stop me from becoming a self-dependent person.

Please don’t forget that I need your time and attention to catch my dreams.

I think I don’t need to tell you. Do I?

Please don’t try to limit my potential.

I can never go beyond your expectation to catch my dreams.
