Student Assessment

  •  The academic year is divided into terms and units/periodic.
  •  All the tests and examinations are equally important.
  •  The average of the marks obtained in each subject in the unit tests and terminal examinations will be taken into consideration for promotion
  • Attendance is compulsory for all tests and examinations held during the year, failing which the student will be given a zero. It is the responsibility of both students and their parents to ensure that they do not miss any written tests or examinations. No consideration will be given to absentees except on medical grounds.
  •  There is no provision for retesting students, who remain absent on the day of the examination.
  • A minimum attendance record of 80% of the total number of working days is compulsory.
  • The answer sheets of the first term examination will be distributed to students after evaluation. Errors in evaluation such as mistakes in total, unmarked answers etc. must be brought to the notice of the concerned teacher on the same day. Delaying may result in ignoring the same while preparing the result.
  • Oral Skills and General Knowledge will be treated as full-fledged subjects till class VIII. Marks obtained by a child in the same will be reflected in his/her result and counted toward the promotion.
  • The report card must be signed by the parents. In case of loss damage, a new report card will be issued on payment.
